How to choose shoes that could have you dancing all night:-
Shop at the end of the day (or, if you are buying sneakers, after a run), when feet are swollen.
Have both feet measured before buying. Foot size changes as we age, and as we gain and lose weight – and one foot tends to be large than the other. Buy shoes to fit the larger foot.
Do not shop by number; sizes vary between different styles and designers. Try shoes on and walk around to see if they are comfortable.
Replace sneakers after running 500km to 800km or doing 300hrs of aerobic activities.
Make sure there is about one centimeter of space between your longest toe and the end of the toe box.
Do not buy shoes that are too tight, thinking they will stretch. There is no such thing as breaking them in.
Do not wear the same shoes two days in a row. Let them breathe so they would not collect moisture and promote the growth of foot fungi.
